The Mermaid’s House

I came back to the countryside after a long time.

Walking along the shore with my childhood friends, Chihiro and Mio.

Just like we always used to.

The three of us…?

Wait, was it always three?

A wave reaches my feet.

Mio turns around.

“Who are you?”

Her hair drifts in the wind.
