Hi, I’m Buzz from Gossip Sugar Films. Two drama-club girls rehearse as a couple, one in the boy’s role and one in the girl’s — until the line between acting and true feeling begins to dissolve. We are crowdfunding “Satetsu,” a GL short drama. To complete this film, we need your support.

What is Virgin Kiss?

“Virgin Kiss” is a short drama series built around a “kiss” between women — and the decisions forced at life’s crossroads. Every episode ends on a moment of decision, and leaves you asking yourself: “What would I have done?” It is a series that plants a question in everyone who watches.

The channel launched as a sub-channel of “Gossip Sugar,” an original short-drama series about the hidden side of the entertainment world that has passed 50 million total views and keeps expanding beyond YouTube, including a collaboration with Kodansha’s “Young Magazine.” With “Virgin Kiss,” we explore what lies deeper in human emotion, from a different angle than Gossip Sugar.

The New Film: “Satetsu”

Is this acting, or is it real…? The more they perform, the more the line dissolves.

With the seniors retired, only two members remain in the drama club: Hinami and Marin. For the school-festival stage, they split the roles of a couple and rehearse as lovers.

Alone together in the club room, Hinami begins to feel uneasy about Marin’s persistent touches. Day by day, Marin’s advances grow heavier.

Is it just closeness between friends — or something else? Unable to carry it alone, Hinami decides to turn to Ms. Sugita, the club’s advisor…

Acting, or for real? A love permitted only in the rehearsal room.

This is my first GL film. I’ll face each character’s feelings with care, treasure the world of the film, and do my best to deliver something that stays in your heart.

This film is a new challenge for me, and a real chance to grow as an actor.

Hello everyone ♡ I’m Marina Fujita. It has been about two years since I last worked with the director, on a Gossip Sugar production. Through those two years I kept coming back to what the director taught me about acting, facing both its joy and its difficulty.

The moment I read the script, I knew this film would become something special — I’m truly happy to be part of it.

And I’m just as happy that crowdfunding contents everyone can enjoy will be released!

I’ve always loved TV dramas. I want to become an actor who can be that special spark for a kid watching wide-eyed in front of the TV — the way dramas once were for me.

About the Returns

Returns are prepared for each cast member. When supporting, choose the return with your favorite cast member’s name. There is also a “Support the Channel” plan for backing the channel itself.

* The making-of photobook and blooper reel are shared contents; the video message, autographed cheki, shikishi board, and script are individual to each cast member.
