Kaimaku Ten Million is an unprecedented hybrid project where a YouTube drama series and a live theater performance come together as one story.

The drama's final episode ends with the case unsolved. Who is the culprit? What are they hiding? Only those in the theater seats will witness the answer.

The story you've followed on screen crosses into reality before your eyes. That is Kaimaku Ten Million.

Drama

A 3-episode mystery/human drama, approx. 40 minutes each. An ensemble story revolving around a ¥5 million theft, streaming on YouTube.

Stage

The stage production is Kenji Miyazawa's 'Night on the Galactic Railroad' — a fusion of dramatic reading and theater with live piano performance.

Story

Synopsis Synopsis

"Everyone has a motive.
Everyone is hiding something."

Kyo, an aspiring director, organizes an independent stage production to make his childhood friend Maria a real actress. The play: Kenji Miyazawa's 'Night on the Galactic Railroad.'

A once-popular actress banished by scandal. A pianist who lost her career in an accident. A voice actor threatened by the underworld — everyone who gathers carries a burden.

¥5 million vanishes from a household safe. The suspects: the very cast Kyo assembled.

A detective storms the rehearsal room
and begins interrogating them one by one.

When every interrogation ends, the curtain rises on 'Night on the Galactic Railroad.'
