GL Stage Play “The Fallen Has Melted” Opens October 22
— “THE FALL,” “THE MELT,” and an unreleased sequel come together in one stage production. Discover the answer to that confession—and romantic pairings exclusive to the stage.
GOSSIP SUGAR FILMS / VIRGIN KISS presents “The Fallen Has Melted” at Atelier Fanfare Higashi-Shinjuku in Tokyo from Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25, 2026.
This three-act stage production brings together “THE FALL” and “THE MELT,” from the Girls' Love (GL) drama series “Virgin Kiss” available on YouTube, along with an unreleased sequel.
A single performance takes audiences through the two released films, the story that follows, and its conclusion.
The production also features four different endings that change the course of the characters' love stories.
Two casts, White and Black, will each perform all four endings once, for a total of eight performances.
A confession that ended with “It's acting.” Discover the answer before it reaches the screen.
Nagisa confessed her feelings to Marin, the older student she admires—only to brush them off with the words, “It's acting.”
That unanswered confession at the end of “THE MELT” is not the end of their story.
The stage production presents the unreleased continuation, including what happens next between the two, ahead of its screen release.
Those who have seen the films can discover the continuation they have been waiting for, while newcomers can follow the characters' changing relationships across all three acts.
Four endings change who ends up with whom
What if she had chosen different words?
What if she had found the courage to say how she felt?
The characters' choices lead to different romantic partners across the production's multiple endings.
Romantic pairings that do not appear in the films come to life exclusively on stage.
Where will Nagisa and Marin's love story lead—and how will the relationships around them unfold?
Each cast will perform each ending only once.
Returning for another performance offers the chance to discover where a different choice might lead their love stories.
The drama club where love began now faces closure
In Act Three, student council president Ryo Takanashi begins investigating the drama club from within.
Even members who have been at odds must now act to protect it.
Yet the club still carries on the exploitation introduced by its former advisor under the guise of acting instruction.
Marin, the girl Nagisa has fallen for, is among those who believe these methods are part of acting.
Can your true feelings reach someone you can only get close to through a role?
Love, a longing to act, and distorted relationships become entangled.
As the club faces a crisis, Nagisa—who has always struggled even to speak in front of others—begins to change.
Synopsis
“The drama club must be disbanded.”
Nagisa has confessed her feelings to Marin, the older student she admires.
But in the end, she brushed it off with the words, “It's acting.”
Now she regrets her impulsive confession.
Then Ryo Takanashi, the student council president, arrives at the drama club.
Excessive physical contact that goes beyond acting. Performances with obscene content.
Determined to disband the club at the center of these persistent rumors, Takanashi submits her own application to join and begins investigating from within.
Exploitation disguised as acting instruction, introduced by the club's former advisor, Sugita.
Even with Sugita gone, those methods live on through Hinami, the club president.
Marin believes it is all part of acting, and Nagisa has fallen in love with her.
Through acting, you can get close to the person you love.
But is the person they see really you?
Facing the loss of their club, even members who have been at odds begin working to save it.
And Nagisa, who has always struggled even to speak in front of others, begins to change.
Was that kiss just acting?
Will that confession ever receive an answer?
And in the end, who will end up with whom?
A single word can change the course of love.
Four endings, with a different one performed at each show.
Discover the endings to their love stories that exist only on stage.
